The most recent edition of our journal Labour History includes an essay on John Smith from Mark Stuart, author of the forthcoming new authorised biography, an exclusive interview with Tony Benn, stories from the Labour's whips office from former opposition Chief Whip Ted Graham. The issue also features articles on Why Reggie Maudling wouldn't have joined the Labour Party by his new biographer Lewis Baston, tributes to the late Professor Ben Pimlott by Minister for Europe Denis MacShane and to former TUC General Secretary Len Murray by Lord Lea of Crondall.
